The Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. They use the skills and talents learned over the years, and also develop new ones, while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within our communities.
RSVP volunteers choose how, where and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. Volunteers receive pre-service orientation, training from the organization where they will serve and supplemental insurance while on duty. RSVP volunteers do not receive monetary incentives, but sponsoring organizations may reimburse them for some costs incurred during service.

Ashtabula County RSVPRSVP places volunteers with local nonprofit organizations to give back to their community and make a positive difference in the lives of others. 
Seeking electric motor repair for a motorized scooter. We have a Senior who relies on her little scooter to pick up medication and go to the grocery store down the street. The scooter is only 1 year old and is dying before she can get to the store. We are having trouble finding a place that will repair. Do YOU or someone you know have knowledge of electric motors? We need to find someone who can help try and troubleshoot.

New Day Ministries Food Pantry and Outreach Center is a non-profit organization that serves the Bucyrus Community with food and other necessities. Two RSVP volunteers serve at this location.
The Backpack Program provides weekend meals during the school year to students who otherwise might not have enough food. 2 each Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and 3 snacks. The program runs from 12:30-2:30 every Wednesday. RSVP has 17 Volunteers who serve with the program. If you are 55 and over and are interested in volunteering at this location get a hold of Will Grimes.
