Before working with RSVP, Brian Cornwell was an AmeriCorps VISTA Member working to build capacity and engage in community outreach throughout Ohio. Brian has a passion for helping others; that is what motivates him toward volunteerism and giving back to his community. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Anthropology from the University of Akron. He got the opportunity to work on cultural anthropological research with refugee populations in Akron and was a Physical Anthropology Lab Intern at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to concerts, watching sports, and exploring what Central Ohio has to offer.
RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community.
