Hiroko has lived in different parts of the country, starting in Arizona 30 years ago, but is originally from Japan. Ohio is her first place in the Midwest, and she feels at home with friendly people and four beautiful seasons. Before becoming an RSVP program coordinator, Hiroko worked as a high school teacher for 15 years in Virginia. Now she is excited to work with a whole different group of people! She loves to meet new people and explore the possibilities of working together to make our communities better places for everyone. She and her husband love visiting their adult children and granddaughter in their spare time.

RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and over. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community.
